Cambell - 3 Years Old

Two things he loves most - Tractors and the Green Bay Packers

Nicknames: Cam, Buddy, Junior Boy
Height & Weight: 38 inches tall (58%) and 33 lbs (61%)
Hair: Blonde. I like to keep it cut short. He has horrible bed head if it gets too long!
Favorite Foods: Pizza, Hamburgers (ketchup only), French Fries, Peepie's Oatmeal, Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Waffles, Chicken Fried Rice, Avocado, Daddy's Chips, Yogurt, Mommy's Fruit Smoothies and Chex Mix. He will eat most fruits and vegetables, but he HATES bananas and refuses to eat them.
Favorite Drink:  He drinks skim milk, but I wouldn't say he likes it. He will drink his milk in the morning and the rest of the day it's a struggle. He always wants water with a little bit of apple juice added to it.

Cambell's first time in the ocean! He loved it!
Anna Maria Island - 2015

Halloween 2015 - Cambell was Olaf, Lynlee was Elsa.

Favorite Lovie: Puppy Blankie. He also has to sleep with his Minions pillow.
Favorite Toy: His Power Wheels Tractor. He is an impressive driver. This little tractor goes fast (too fast for Mommy's liking), but he maneuvers it like a pro. I always tease Josh that Cambell's a better driver than he is. Cam also likes playing with legos, cars, tractors, trains or construction vehicles. He loves imagination play with his sisters as well.
Favorite Books:  Good Night, Good Night Construction Sight, Little Blue Truck, Llama Llama books, Pete the Cat books, Go Dog Go, PJ Funnybunny, Little Monkeys books, My Truck Is Stuck, Book with pictures of trucks and Curious George (Pancakes and Ice Cream truck are his favorites!) :)
Bedtime: Cam still needs a nap, but he fights it every day so that means he probably naps only 3 days a week during rest time. On the days he doesn't nap we try to get him in bed around 7:00. Otherwise it's close to 8:00.

Playing in the sand - Anna Maria Island 2015

 A boy and his dog

Wake Up Time: Typically around 7:00
Favorite Movies/TV Shows:  Despicable Me, The Lego Movie, Hop, Big Hero 6, Alvin and The Chipmunks, The Lorax, PJ Masks, Stinky and Dirty shows (about construction vehicles), any show with a train
Likes:  Wrestling with Daddy, sharing "favorites" at the dinner table, Daddy's truck, Super Heroes (Batman and Superman are his favorites), driving his tractor, walking Charlee, routine (tries to correct us if we change something up), puzzles, treats, the Green Bay Packers, Minions, listening to music in the car, Disney World & Mickey Mouse
Dislikes:  Getting his hair washed, watching baseball (immediately will ask for football or the Packers), sisters leaving him out, really loud noises, church clothes (asks for play clothes!)

Cambell and Lynlee's 3rd birthday! Cambell asked for a Minion cake and Lynlee asked for an Elsa cake... they talked about this incessantly leading up to their birthday :)

1st Day of 3 year old Preschool - 2015

Latest Accomplishment:  He potty trained in March 2015 (2 years 7 months old). I was so nervous to potty train a boy - I had only heard horror stories. He was actually a piece of cake to train :) Potty training the twins went remarkably smooth - I told Josh at least one thing about having twins had to be easy! It took him a few months to control his bladder while sleeping, but he's been staying dry at night for a few months now. For some odd reason he still wants to wear Pull-Ups to bed. Stinker.
Fears:  Washing down the drain with the water after a bath.
Health:  Cambell had all the same ailments this fall that Lynlee had (twins share EVERYTHING!). He had a stomach bug twice and a nasty respiratory virus.
What He's Been Saying:  He talks... a LOT. Everyone always makes comments about us having four girls and how they must talk constantly. Well our house must be the exception because our little boy can out talk all of his sisters. He talks and talks and talks! But he is so stinking cute, it's fun to listen to him :)  It's interesting how things have changed so quickly... at their 2 year appointment I was worried about Cambell's speech and thought Lynlee was doing just fine. Nine months later Cam is talking in sentences and Lynlee is in speech therapy. Cambell's sentences are getting longer and more complicated. He is a little sponge so he throws in random questions/words that you wouldn't expect from a three year old. We're not sure where this came from, but every night he asks us to cover him up like a rectangle :)

This was Cambell's patented pose when we were on vacation (Summer of 2015)

He asked for a tractor for over a year. He got a tractor. He smiled for days :)

Lynlee - 3 Years Old

Nicknames: Ishy, Lynnie Lu, Lynnie, Lynnie Bug
Height & Weight: 39 inches tall (86%) and 33 lbs (69%)
Hair: Light Brown and starting to curl! If you let her hair air dry she has the most adorable ringlets! Her hair is similar to Maryn's - it's curly underneath and straight on top.

Dancing to the music at Disneyworld! She loves to sing and dance just like her big sisters!

Favorite Foods: Lynlee went through a stage where she wouldn't eat any fruit besides bananas! It was weird! She started out loving all fruit, decided she didn't like any of them, and now is back to liking most of them. Currently she will eat bananas, strawberries, watermelon, apples, oranges, pears, peaches, and nectarines. She despises grapes and blueberries - go figure. Her favorite veggie is probably broccoli, but she likes peas, green beans, cauliflower, avocado, sweet potatoes, and carrots as well. Her other favorite foods include pasta with butter (and a little parmesan cheese on top!), hummus with pretzels, cheese pizza, hot dogs, chicken nuggets (only the Simply Balanced ones from Target!), french fries and hamburgers (ketchup only!) and any kind of baked fish (salmon, tilapia, mahi mahi). She tends to prefer salty foods :)
Favorite Drink: She still drinks rice milk even though she doesn't really have a dairy intolerance anymore. She also really likes apple juice or lemonade for a treat.
Favorite Lovie: Pink Blankie

Lynnie being silly with her best friend Cambell :)

She loves to do any kind of craft or learning activity.

Favorite Toy: Her new Elsa Power Wheels convertible. She also loves playing with her big sister's Lil Woodzeez and Legos. Lynlee and Cambell have followed after their big sisters and they'd much rather do imaginative play (grocery store, doctor's office, going on a vacation, etc) instead of playing with a toy.
Favorite Books: Pete The Cat books, Llama Llama books, Anything and Everything Princess and Frozen
Bedtime: Lynlee doesn't really nap anymore. I can get her to fall asleep during rest time maybe once every few weeks. On the days she doesn't nap, we try to get her in bed around 7:00. That is not always possible, but we try!
Wake Up Time:  She tends to wake up between 7:00 and 7:30.
Favorite Movies/TV Shows: Frozen, Dora, Barbie, Chipmunks, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Mickey Mouse
Likes: Elsa, drawing or coloring, playing in the woods at the lot, giving Charlee hugs, playing with her big sisters, wearing dresses, the color pink, taking baths in the big bath, swimming/water play, going to preschool, music
Dislikes: naps

1st day of 3 year old preschool! 2015

Latest Accomplishment:  She potty trained very easily in March 2015 (2 years 7 months). She was day and night trained pretty much simultaneously. She knows most of her colors and shapes, can count into the teens and is learning to write letters. She started 3 year old preschool in the Fall of 2015 and is doing very well!
Fears: I'm fairly certain this child isn't afraid of anything!
Health:  We've had a rough fall at our house! Lynlee had a stomach bug twice and a bad respiratory virus as well. She had some difficulties breathing with the respiratory virus which was very scary for Mom and Dad.
What She's Been Saying: In May 2015, we found out that Lynlee has a speech delay. After being evaluated, one therapist gave her an intelligibility rate of 25% and another gave her a 10%. Children under 50% are referred on to speech therapy. So we immediately began therapy in our home with an AEA speech therapist. When the school year started, we were moved to a local elementary school for our sessions. Just a few weeks ago, we got in to Witwer (a private speech facility) after a 6 month wait, so she is now going to speech twice a week. When she first started she struggled to put two consonant sounds together (sp, st, gr), would talk very fast and incoherently when trying to have a conversation, and struggled with any words over 2 syllables. The only people that could understand her were me, Josh and the kids. And even we couldn't understand her a lot of the time. Her first month at AEA they gave her a test... she scored 0%. After a month of therapy they tested her again... she scored 60%!!! We are absolutely thrilled by her progress. She still has a long ways to go, but she is a very hard worker (her therapists love her!) and we have noticed a big difference in just a few months. Most recently we are starting to notice 4-5 word sentences out of her which we never had before! My favorite had to be one day when I told the twins that I had to get my "babies" in the car - "We're not babies! We're twins!" Bless her heart!
