Becoming Best Friends

I am absolutely delighted by the friendship I see budding between my two little girls. They love each other so much and in the last few months they have taken playing together to a whole new level. They can disappear for significant amounts of time playing and laughing together in their rooms and they want nothing to do with mommy. It's all about sister time :) Makenna even told me that Maryn is her best friend! If they are separated for even a short time (ie. preschool, Sunday school), they hug and make a huge scene embracing like they haven't seen each other for weeks :) Now don't get me wrong, they have their moments when they fight, especially since Maryn has the sharing capabilities of a 2 year old, but overall they do very well for their ages. The picture below was the other night when they were trying to convince me and Josh that they should get to sleep together because they love each other so much :) They are really quite endearing. I can't wait to put the newest little Budke sister in the middle of them and let them just love her to bits and pieces.
