Church Christmas Program

Both the girls were able to participate in the church Christmas program this year. Makenna graduated up to singing with the "older" kids and Maryn got to be an angel for the first time! Josh kept saying "it's the height of irony that Maryn's going to be an angel" but she actually did quite well! She was probably the youngest kid up on the stage but yet still knew most of the words and the actions (which impressed us incredibly). We had no clue she would know that much. She had a little melt down right at the beginning when they got on stage (I think she tripped on her angel costume and lost her halo :) After a minute of consoling with Daddy she was fine and stayed on stage for the entire performance! I couldn't have been prouder to see my girls having so much fun singing for Jesus!

Our beautiful girls in their beautiful dresses! Makenna calls this her special Christmas princess dress :) They were so wound up and ready to go!

Our precious, precious angel. Isn't she just a hoot in her costume?! She carried it off quite well :)

Makenna was kind of hidden in the back row so this was the best picture I could get of her onstage

Maryn onstage eagerly following all the hand motions! Note that she is actually the only one doing them... I had to crop this picture in and there was only one other kid doing in the motions in the far corner of the original pic. Typical 2 year olds!

During the last song I think Maryn got a little tired... she decided to ring her bell sitting down on the stage :)

LOVE this picture! She is smack dab in the center of the picture! She looks like she belongs in the gospel choir! Maybe someday!
