Weight & Height: Pushing 40 inches tall and mid-30s for weight.
Hair: Finally she has a normal head of hair!! It took so long for her to have a full head of hair! It is a beautiful golden brown color and very thin and wispy. We are still growing out her bangs so we pull her hair back in barrettes or with a ponytail most days.
Favorite foods: Hamburger Pizza, Cheeseburgers, Red Peppers, anything you can dip, frosting, suckers, Italian food, any and all fruits, Raisin Nut Bran cereal (without the raisins or nuts!), pancakes, scrambled eggs. Maryn has unfortunately become more of a finicky eater... although it has nothing to do with the food and everything to do with control. I know this because she eats anything and everything for breakfast and lunch but then we have to fight her at dinner typically a few nights a week to eat her dinner or even sit still in her chair. She will typically eat all the fruit and vegetables on her plate and leave the rest. We're still working on figuring out why she has chosen this time for a power struggle... we think it may be her way of getting attention from Daddy since he just got home from work. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
Favorite toys: You will most commonly find us doing puzzles together in the morning while Maya naps. Maryn LOVES puzzles, especially her Strawberry Shortcake, Princess, and Care Bears puzzles. Shortly after she turned 3, Maryn started doing 100 piece puzzles with little help and now can do 100 piece puzzles all by herself. Watching her do puzzles is amazing to me. I think she has better problem solving skills than some adults. In the afternoon you will most often find Maryn playing any and all imagination games with Makenna. They play SO well together! I'm so blessed that my little girls truly are good friends and get along so well.
Favorite stuffed animal: Puppy
Bedtime: We start getting ready for bed at 7:30 and she's in bed by 8:00. She falls asleep a little later if she took a nap that day.
Wake-up time: It can be anywhere from 7:00 - 8:15.
Naps: Maryn still has quiet time every day, but she is hit or miss on if she takes a nap or not. She will go in streaks. She didn't take a single nap for the month following Christmas, but then she took 4 naps last week. She definitely still needs the occassional nap otherwise we see a decline in her ability to cope.
Favorite person: Probably still her sisters. She wants to be JUST like Nenny. She follows her around and tries to do everything just like her. Luckily Makenna doesn't seem to mind :)
Latest Accomplishment: Definitely the biggest accomplishment for Maryn has been overcoming her voiding dysfunction. On her own, she fully potty trained at the beginning of December very easily and just in the last month has been able to stay dry at night as well. Everything has been Maryn lead and she has done fabulously with all of it! The doctors told us not to expect her to be able to stay dry at night until she was older (closer to 5) given her voiding dysfunction so we were pleasantly surprised that she was able to do this!
Likes: Mommy and Maryn time every afternoon, going to the movie store, changing her own clothes, music class with Miss Paula, anything to do with water (swimming lessons, baths, washing dishes, playing in the sink, etc).
Dislikes: socks, being in the basement by herself, getting dressed (she'd prefer to stay in her jammies all day), when Makenna won't play with her (which really isn't fair b/c Makenna plays with her ALL the time... we're trying to teach Maryn that it's okay for Makenna to have alone time)
What gets said about Maryn most often: "Oh! She's full of it!"

Health: Maryn is very healthy kid. When everyone else in our house gets sick, she tends to be the person that misses the virus or gets a weaker version of it. Her immune system is quite impressive. She currently has a little cold and had a virus in the fall, but other than that she has been healthy.
How she's like Daddy: She's full of it!
How she's like Mommy: She has Mommy's dark brown/green eyes!
